THE XTREME NIGHTS 2007 Cover[Part 1][Cars]
*Warning picture HEAVY post*
Well, one of the country's largest car modification show/event happened on the 7th & 8th of December, a few weeks back!
There is nothing much to talk about this event except that it was not as good as last year's. This time there were more "kelam-kabut", the place was smaller, cars were parked everywhere. Overall, to me, the place was too messy to be a car show.
None the less, I believe the reason people go there, are not the cars nor the car accessories on display but more of the TXN Model Search 2007 and the models that comes with the cars.
Guys, if you don't agree with me, I think you love Elton John. *grins*
Anyway, here are the pics taken that night. All these pics are taken using a Nikon D70 which belongs to a friend of mine. Some of the pics are taken by me but watermark-ed under his name. *sobs*
That's about all the cars photos that I have.
Till then, here's a sneak preview of what's coming next!
Take good care, God bless! Ciao!

THE KINGDOM was ENCHANTED!!
Yes! You've guessed it right. Conquered 2 movies in 2 days.
Watched Enchanted yesterday. It was my 1st time to TGV Sunway Pyramid since they renovated and shifted one floor higher. The place was nice! Unlike the old TGV which stinks once you step foot into it. Overall, te show was GOOD. I particularly like the way they blended animation(Andalasia) and real life(New York City) together. And not to mention, it was well blended(like a cuppa frappe).
Pip was the cutest! Damn love the way he always fail when he tries to tell Prince Edward about the queen wanting to kill Giselle in real life. Just so CUTE!
But but.. one complain, cartoon Giselle looks much better than real life Giselle. I wonder why. Nonetheless, the role was well played. And Amy Adams is pretty. Err... I'm confused!
Dinner was at The Atrium Cafe in Pyramid Tower Hotel. We had theit buffet. Apparently, they have a very good spread. Then again, they have different types of cuisines everyday I think. Unfortunately, yesterday was mostly Indian food which was not what I felt like yesterday. Don't get me wrong, I love Indian food but yesterday, I was craving for something else? I guess... Then again, nothing can go wrong with good food and a good company.
Today was The Kingdom day. This is a very intesresting movie to watch. I would call it more of a documentary. The life of Americans working in Saudi in the oil and gas industry.
Boring in the beginning(fell asleep), but very much action packed in the later part of the movie. You will get to see how bombs are made, how suicide bombers do their thing and how the FBI work in investigation. Cool show indeed!
Spoiler...
I feel sorry for the Saudi guy who was stabbed in the balls by Janet(Jennifer Garner). I feel for him. Hahahaha...
That's about it for now! A short post after quite sometime.
Till then, take good care, God bless!

Ke-LANSI-an yg tak terhingga.
Hey peeps! Its good to be back! And its good to be leaving again! The gang and I will be leaving to Malacca tommorrow! Nothing much there, just a getaway for those who are working very very hard. This trip will be much about FOOD, DRINKS(as most of my friends are ALCOHOLIC!), catching up, fellowship and MORE FOOD!
Right, Cameron was so-so. The workplace was at The Equitorial, Cameron Highlands. Sadly, this place is super run-down. Its sad to see once the most POSH hotel up there in its current state. As if that was not bad enough, the stupid employer put us up at a dodgy lodge-like-hotel. Well, all in the name of being KIAM SIAP! Lousy employers I should say. There is actually a series of other events that happened there that pissed me off, and I ended up screwing the shit out of him. Too bad dude! Of the high-level of patience that I always have and you managed to still blow me up, I'm sorry!
(Sorry peeps, NO pics from there as we were busy working the whole time, not to mention that we were in either one of the hotels 99% f our time there.)
Right, back to the topic. Read about THIS in the back headlines(sports) of The Star today.
Check out what he said;
LONDON: Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger saw his side reclaim their place at the top of the Premier League by extending their unbeaten run to 27 games, and then challenged the Gunners’ title rivals: Catch us if you can.
Read on HERE.
Well, yeah! That's what I meant by ke-lansi-an yg tak terhingga! I'm sorry to all Arsenal fans out there. Its that I hate the team or what. Arsenal actually has many good players which I admire. Namely Fabregas, Adebayor and a few others. Its not the team's fault. Its the MANAGER's fault! Thank God Henry left! I bet he is doing much much better now in Barca!
Till then, from a Devils' fan, take care and God bless!

Cuti-cuti Malaysia 2007
I, Kelvin Leong, hereby declare that exams are FINALLY OVER! Muahahahahahahahaha.....
Therefore, this marks the beginning of cuti-cuti Malaysia 2007 in conjunction with Visit Malaysia Year 2007.
Well, whatever mentioned above is just and excuse to escape from doing internship. Lame-O! I know! Well, since this year, 2007, is Visit Malaysia Year and it is almost the end of the year, why not take this opportunity to make a few trips around Malaysia to visit some places? Good idea to me, I think?
Well, without further or do, I will be starting my Cuti-cuti Malaysia vision tommorrow itself. Friday morning, 26/10/07, I will be driving up to Cameron Highlands. Not exactly to CUTI but to work! Well, work only takes up half the day and the other half will be spent wisely up there.
Enjoying the chilled fresh morning breeze, luscious green grass fields, colorful flowers, fruits and all sorts and not to forget, red succulent strawberries! Wah, heavenly! As I'm typing, I'm already imagining.
Well, I last went to Cameron like 1 year ago? And to my dissapointment, the place is not as cold as before. I remember roughly about 10 years back, I went up there with my whole family + extended family. We stayed in a bungalow. In the night, it was so cold that I had to wear like a few layers of clothings + a jacket on top to warm up myself. But early this year, I could walk around naked with just a t-shirt and shorts.
Maybe I've grown up to become a big fat buffalo. Then again, my younger cousins were doing the same! Which means the place really is not that cold anymore. Hmm... We'll see how it would be this time.
Pray for mercy journey as I will be driving up and back. Hopefully I can come back with pics to feed my blog! Hehehe..
Till then, God bless and take care!
*sings* Cuti-Cuti MalaysiaAaaAa....a.AA.....

New phone to come!
I am still trying to sell my beloved phone. Although its a reluctant sale, I think I am starting to get a bit impatient to sell. Hahahaha...
This is because, I already have in mind what I want to buy next. I have already set my eyes on a Sony Ericsson P990i. This is a PDA phone. I think, a PDA phone still suit me better since the ol' faithful O2 Atom which I used for quite awhile.
In fact, I actually wanted a Sony Ericsson P1i. This is a newer version of the P990i. Which looks nicer, is slimmer and more "gaya". They both share similar punctions. Thank GOD! Unfortunately, since this is NEW, I do not have the budget for it. Or maybe I should save more to get this. I shall think about this perhaps.
But then, I have my own philosophy. I dont believe in buying new phones for myself. Here are reasons why;
1. It is expensive.
2. The newer ones come out like the day after you buy the phone.
3. From 2, hence, the price of the phone will drop drastically.
4. I do not like to be a quinea pig.(Let people use 1st and read their reviews and in time for a used set.)
5. My backside gets itchy as and when it likes to. Sometimes, ALWAYS!(The chinese saying goes "Si fatt han ar?" This is a tag line which usually comes before telling someone off. Its similar to "nothing else better to do ar?")
6. I got no money to buy NEW phone actually. Hehehehe...
So any buyers? Come come! Buy buy! Great deal! Quick quick!

Inefficiency? with DELL Malaysia that is.
Yeap! This is what I am experiencing now.
The situation is this,
I am now planning to get a laptop for myself. A Dell laptop in particular. Then of course, with a tight budget, I am planning to get a refurbished unit from Dell.
You see, Dell actually sells refurbished laptops/PCs if you don't already know. These systems are mostly those returned from warranty, fixed and then sold back to the market. Either that or some people who order their systems from the internet, but their payment failed or something like that. Hence, they are sold cheaper than what it is supposed to be. Yeap! 2nd hand that is.
So back to my story, I was eyeing on a few units of refurbished laptops from them. They are like very much cheaper than buying new + they still come with a new 1 year warranty.
1st story - I called up Dell to order the laptop that I am interested in. Then they said they had to check with the perticular department on whether the unit is still available available and they will call me back. About an hour later, they called and said that it was already sold. Fine... They asked me to call in earlier the next day to avoid this to happen again. So ok, I accepted that graciously and put down the phone.
I began searching for another unit. And I found one.
2nd story - This time I found out that Dell's business hour starts at 8.30a.m. So, on that very day, I called in at 8.30a.m. SHARP! And I placed my order for the unit that I wanted. Same case, they said they will call me back because they need to check for the availability. An hour later, they called back. She told me that that unit was sold at 7.00a.m. that morning itself. I was DUMBFOUNDED! Now, she gave me her e-mail and asked me to mail her my request(i.e. model number) once I find one. Ok fine again thou this time, I was a bit furious but I could still hold on.
I began searching again that night and fortunately, I found another unit which suits me.
3rd story - This time, as soon as I got the model number, I mailed her the model number. Unfortunately, it was already after office hours. I waited for her reply. 9.00a.m. the next morning, I saw her reply. I thought to myself, this would be good. But NO!! again she told me that what I wanted was already GONE(with the wind). Thank God this was through e-mail. If I was on the phone with her, I would have screwed her up nicely.
The best part is, no reservation can be made for these units(i.e. refurbished ones). Then? How did they go so fast? I guess this could be only an inside job. Maybe there are people working 24hrs in Dell?
Think of this, buying a laptop which is almost RM500-800 below market price, with 1 year warranty. Who wouldn't be excited? Even I am! Hence this post.
Could anyone give me any other ideas on how to get hold of these laptops? Anyone able to pull strings inside Dell? Please let me know. I need one now(though not very urgently).
You might think, why Dell after all these hassle? Well, Dell has the best offers. They are generally cheaper than other brands of laptops. Tight budget. What to do? Live with it, I have to.
Thanks so much in advance for your help(if any)!
Till then, take care, God bless!

ROASTED DUCK, BBQ PORK & ETC. II
If the ones below didnt look good enough to convince you to go and try it.
Us, the UCSI fellows, went back to that shop for another lunch session.
This time 4 of us, we ordered 1/2 a duck and a plate of Char Siew.
Maximum mouth watering I tell you! The tenderness of the duck meat, the perfection of the char siew. How could you resist? Hahahahaha...
At the end of that lunch session, S-A-T-I-S-F-A-C-T-I-O-N was slearly spelled on our foreheads.
And the 4 of us, jumped and skipped joyfully back to class that evening.
(Pictures above we taken using an SE K810)
Till then, take care, God bless!

ROASTED DUCK, BBQ PORK & ETC.
Hey guys, I'm back with some food.
I shall not say much here, I'll let the pictures do the talking.
Restoran Sun Ming, Taman Connaught, Cheras. This place is very well known for their roasted duck , chicken & pork and BBQ pork(Char Siew). Besides those, they also serve yong tau foo, sour vege, tau foo and many more which I've yet to try.
This place is located along the main road, heading towards Kajang. If you are coming from Federal Highway, get onto the Cheras Highway near Mid Valley. There will be a 50 cents toll.
After the toll, go all the way straight, until you see a BHP petrol station on your left.
Make a left turn(into BHP) then take an immediate right. You will now see Domino's Pizza on your left. Restoran Sun Ming is just a few doors away from Domino's.
As you walk in to the eatery, you will be greetted by this.
In the above picture, there are about 10 ducks, another 10 chickens, lotsa pork, all hung up. But the point is, if you sit there long enough, say about an hour or so, you will actually get to see then refilling their already-GONE stocks twice!
This means, in an hour, this place can actually sell 10-20 ducks/chickens! Btw, there are only open for LUNCH. Does this justify how good the food is? If not, scroll down.
Can I just stop here? I'll continue some other day. Hahahahaha....
*I see daggers, swords and light sabers flying towards me* =P
Okay okay... Here comes the best part!
A plate of normal duck rice costs RM4.50 per person. If you order a combination like the above, its RM6.00. I think this pricing is worth it for the amount of satisfaction you get in return. I'm sure you will crave for more of their Char Siew when you leave that place. It is that good!
Imagine this, Char Siew, not completely lean meat, it has just enough fats to go with it for total satisfaction. Then it is BBQ-ed to perfection. The meat is so very tender. The fats are half burnt hence the crispy-ness when you take a bite. *HEAVENLY*
Hahaha... Don't imagine anymore. Go try it yourself. While you are at it, give me a call. I'm just across the road in UCSI. Hahahaha....
Till then, take care, God bless!

POST ACHIEVEMENT & WHAT CAME ALONG!
My arm is BADLY bruised! It looks like I've just been whacked hard with something blunt and the veins broke abd blood spurted everywhere! Under my skin of course. Wanna see it?
I googled "Bruises after blood donation" and this is what I found. It is just a small matter. It also comes with a few ways to prevent bruises after donation. You can try it at your second donation! *cheers*
Bruising
Courtesy of www.blood.co.uk
Although we hope that no donor will have any ill effects from giving blood, occasionally bruising of the arm may develop. The bruise can look very dramatic and some people may find this worrying, especially if it appears away from the donation area or is not visible until the next day. Bruising can look very nasty, but it is usually harmless and will disperse with time.
What is bruising?
Bruising is caused by bleeding under the skin. For example, a hard knock which does not break the skin can damage fragile blood vessels which lie just beneath. These damaged blood vessels leak a small amount of blood, which collects in the area as a bruise.
With time, the familiar blue-black discolouration changes to green, then yellow and eventually fades and disappears. This may take up to three weeks if the bruise is large.
Why can it happen after blood donation?
When the needle is taken out of the arm bleeding will continue until the small hole in the vein closes up. The way to prevent this is to apply pressure to the arm over the site where the needle was inserted. This must continue until all signs of bleeding have stopped. Failure to maintain this pressure is the most common cause of bruising.
Secondly, when the donation needle is put into the arm, damage to the opposite wall of the vein may occur, causing a small hole through which blood can escape. This is not always seen during the donation but may become apparent afterwards.
Thirdly there are tiny fragile blood vessels running just under the skin, as well as the larger veins from which a blood donation is obtained. When the donation needle is inserted into the arm, one of these small vessels may be damaged and bleeding occurs. It is impossible to predict this, as such vessels are not usually visible.
What can be done?
The single most important way of preventing a bruise is to apply pressure to the place where the needle was, until the bleeding has stopped. A plaster will be applied to the area to keep it clean. It should be kept on for a minimum of 6 hours.
Additionally, if you are wearing a tight sleeve, we may ask you to remove that article of clothing. A tight sleeve can act as a tourniquet and cause congestion in the vein increasing the chance of bruising.
If a bruise occurs during the donation, we may discontinue the donation to prevent the bruise worsening. You may also be more likely to develop a bruise if your donation is more difficult than usual.
What can you do?
Bruising may be painful and you should avoid heavy lifting as this could aggravate the pain in the arm. However, gentle movement may be beneficial.
Applying something cool to the area can help to relieve any pain or discomfort. A cold cloth or flannel is ideal. If you require more pain relief, we recommend taking paracetamol (according to the manufacturers instructions).
If you experience any of the following, you should seek further help:
- Severe pain
- Numbness or pins and needles in the arm, hand or fingers
- Swelling and/or redness of the arm
Anyway, if it your 1st time donating blood, you ought to get a booklet which records all your good deeds!
It is called "Sijil Penderma Darah" Inside are your particulars and also your blood type. Then it is a page where the details of your donations are recorded. Of course, in this case, the more the merrier!
Anyway, flip to the back page of the book, you will get to see the perks and benefits of being a blood donor. I guess to me, it will not be useful now but in future, who knows?
You guys must be thinking, what is this blood hype about? Actually, I was AND am still very proud of myself for achieving this "feat". Hahahaha.... So bare with me ok? I promise this is the last!(I think?)
Till then, take care, God bless~!
